Elias Huland
Elias is an environmental scientist interested in the benefits humans obtain from ecosystems and in understanding how these benefits can be managed to enhance human well-being, particularly through nature-based solutions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Leuphana University Lüneburg (Germany) and a master’s degree from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and has gained practical experience in conservation and development cooperation, working at GIZ on the socio-economic value of conservation areas in Africa.
Elias is currently a research assistant in The HuT project, where he contributes to research on nature-based solutions for climate adaptation.
